I’m Sue, your guide to a life worth being.

“Life is an echo. What you send out comes back. What you sow you reap, what you give you get. What you see in others exists in you.”
Equus Coaching® is experiential, equine-assisted life coaching. All activities take place on the ground; no riding and no horse experience are required. Simply being in the presence of these large majestic creatures can be a very humbling and grounding experience.
Through your interactions with your 4-legged coaching partner, you will begin to see reflections of how you exist in relationship with yourself, others, and the world around you.
Then and only then will you start chipping away at the walls, stories, and limiting beliefs that are keeping you from your true passion and heart-centered sense of self.
And that’s when the magic really starts to happen…

I became a coach for a reason...
I have a lifelong heart connection with horses. They are the guiding spirits who brought me to the amazing world of Equus Coaching® and the Koelle Institute for Equus Coaching®. My background in corporate learning development and management allowed me to finely tune my listening, coaching and mentoring skills.
I grew up in the Northeast and moved to Seattle 30 years ago. I share my heart with 2 mini Dachshunds, Benny and Rudy and a big bay quarter horse named Moose. I love sharing my deep passion for horses with anyone who is curious. I am also a licensed equine massage therapist and I volunteer at local horse rescues and therapeutic riding centers.
I am excited to combine my diverse life, work and equine experience to support my clients on their own journey of discovery.
Meet the Herd
In addition to my big handsome boy, Moose, I am fortunate to partner with the amazing herd and staff at Care Fur Life Equine Rescue. All of the equine residents enjoy excellent care, nutritious meals, lots of love and emotional support. Our rescue coaches have an abundance of life experience to help guide you on your experiential journey.
